My role
I solely designed and hand-drew all the illustrations for the card sets. I also managed the printing and oversaw the final execution.

The Backstory
I was a part of the Behavioural Study research project. After the completion, we realised the importance of making these insights accessible to help teams make informed decisions and better understand the company's audience.
With inspirations from Uber, Microsoft and other bigger organisation, the Lead User Researcher and I initially decided to build a repository website. But of course, no one had any free bandwidth as we were swamped with our main projects. But we felt this was very important, and thus we pivoted to a fun approach where we decided to build a card deck of the Research Insights. I took this as a side-project and decided to bring the idea to life!
The Challenge: Too much Data
The Behavioural Research project gathered insights through in-depth interviews with 100 users, voice call surveys of 700+ users, and survey responses from over 70,000
users between April 2023 and August 2023.

The challenge was to present such a vast amount of data on a card deck in a way that was not only easily digestible but also practical for daily use across the employees of the organisation.

The Approach
With the card deck idea finalised, the next step was to have a clear approach and start designing. Our goal was to make the deck accessible, so we decided to have multiple copies and place these decks in meeting rooms where teams could pick a card, read through it, and perhaps even apply the insights during discussions.
Here's how we structured the cards:
The Hero Card and the 3 Sections:
We designed a hero card which acted as an introduction to the card deck giving a clear idea of what to expect. It also provided an overview of the three colour-coded
categories for quick scanning and usability.

The Card Layout:
After several iterations, we landed on a simple and effective layout.

To add a touch of personality and engagement, I created hand-drawn illustrations for each insight. These not only made the cards visually appealing but also added a layer of relatability and fun.

Everyone loved the illustrations and the idea of having the deck of cards in each meeting room! While I can’t share the full details of the cards due to the confidentiality of the research insights, I’ve shown the illustrations, some rough sketches, and a picture of the deck in one of the meeting rooms.
